More than a hotel

We pride ourselves on being a traditional inn that goes above and beyond for each and every customer. We consider ourselves anything but ordinary!

Whether you need a place to stay, a table to host a meeting, or a space to celebrate with loved ones, we hope we’ve got everything you need and more. So, look no further for a weekend bolthole, a dinner bed and breakfast treat, or a family get together with lots of fun activities nearby to enjoy.

Our rooms

We have 25 individually designed rooms. All rooms come en-suite with colour TVs and free wi-fi. A hearty Welsh breakfast comes as standard with all room bookings, and we endeavour to meet any requests you may have.

All rooms come equipped with quality coffee from Café du Monde, Welsh Brew Teas, as well as Myddfai toiletries which smell delicious. We’re proud to partner with Myddfai which is a social enterprise, whose mission is to provide volunteering opportunities for vulnerable adults from the local community.

Warm welcome to all

Croeso, as we say in Wales, is Welsh for welcome. And we will wish you a very warm welcome when you arrive here at the Wynnstay. Our friendly staff will check you in (quite a few are Welsh speakers), take your food and drink orders and happily provide recommendations to local activities and attractions – trust us, there is plenty to do around here!

There is no dress code; we welcome muddy boots (we can provide boot covers if super muddy!), cycling attire, and ball gowns, so please dress as you feel comfortable for the occasion. As well as welcoming people with all interests, we are family and baby-friendly with highchairs and children’s menus.

The little things

We like to think we’ve considered the little things that can make a stay even better, so we strive to make sure the hobbies or dogs in your life are catered for too.

We have secure storage for bicycles and motorbikes on site; please enquire at reception at the time of booking or on arrival if you require this service.

Well-behaved dogs are always welcome too and can stay with you within our standard rooms (£15 per dog, per night), just let our reception staff know at the time of booking. Upon checkout, each room is then deep cleaned to ensure it is more than acceptable for those staying without dogs, particularly those who might be allergic. Please be reassured that we do this after each pet stay.

Celebrations and gatherings

We love hosting! It must be the Welsh/Italian in us! Whether you’re celebrating an anniversary or birthday with your significant other, a family-sized event or you’d like to take over the hotel for a star-studded bash, please let us know. We’re open to accommodating your special events so please do get in touch…did we say we’ve now got Prosecco on tap too??

Meetings

We’re a great venue choice for meetings in mid Wales. Contact our reception for booking details, but whether you need a place suitable for colleagues from north and south Wales to meet at for a quarterly meeting, or simply a one-off business lunch, we can be flexible with the meeting room options. We have free parking and wi-fi and all the coffee you may need!
